DUAL LANGUAGE

Dual Language education programs integrate native English speaking students with native Spanish, Chinese, French, or other language speaking students for academic instruction which is presented in both languages.  Social and academic learning occurs in an environment that values the language and culture of all students and sets high standards to ultimately achieve academic success in both languages.  Many school districts have created magnet schools around Dual Language programs because of the social benefits found in these classrooms.  Omaha Public Schools is one such district, and R.M. Marrs Magnet is one of the schools within the district that offers this program to 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
