Welcome to my web page. My name is Mrs. Bundy, and this is my eighteenth year of teaching at Marrs School. I teach 5th, 6th, and 7th, and 8th grade chorus classes. I also teach 7th & 8th grade show choir. In my classes, we focus on not only learning to read music notes, symbols, and terms, but to put the "notes on paper" to life in our performances throughout the year.
When visual artists paint pictures, they start with a blank canvas. They think about what subject they want to portray in their painting, sketch the object, and then with a lot of time, attention to detail, and hard work, they finally create their masterpiece. As musicians, our blank canvas begins with silence. We create our sketch by learning the "notes on paper" correctly in rehearsal. To create our masterpiece, we address details like dynamics, phrasing, tempo, and balance in rehearsals and make choices over time to finally create an aural masterpiece for our audience.
